Fabric box

It's been ages since I made anything. Christmas sort of took over any creating time I had. I was itching to get on with something. When I put the Christmas decorations away I discovered a box I had from last year that contained my favourite perfume (Stella by Stella McCartney). It was a beautiful box and I was just using it to put some hooks for Christmas decorations in. What a waste I thought, it needs to be covered, looked at, used daily. So, I found some 1940's fabric and with the help of a glue gun turned this.......

into this.

A lovely 1940's style box for putting my jewellery in.

Blasted blogger! Can't see the photos right now. Wil check back. Treated myself to a Stella McCartney sweater for Xmas. I was very good last year :-)

Ooh Donna, that is absolutely gorgeous! Your jewellery is very lucky! Would be lovely to see you at the CL fair, unfortunately I'm only doing the Scottish fair and I'd imagine your planning on going to the London one as it's a lot closer! One day I might make it down to the big smoke to exhibit!

Hi Sweetie

Your covered box looks divine - I wish I'd got a look at it yesterday but my visit was rather fleeting and a bit mad, wasn't it?I don't suppose you thought about the box while I was there.

Thanks for my birthday greeting AND for the lovely day and evening we spent together ........

Hello again Donna, and Happy New Year! I like your box, you make everything so neatly, you are clever! Toby has been busy on his sewing machine, making patchwork, using some of the fabrics you sent him.
