Beautiful Button Swap

Just before I went away I received a lovely parcel from Lettuce. We had arranged a vintage button swap. Her package arrived, I made myself a cup of tea, sat down and slowly opened it. The buttons inside were delicious. An array of colours and textures. I could see that these had been picked out carefully and that I had been sent some of her very favourites. It was such a generous selection. I love each and every one of them. Every time I thought I had chosen a favourite I would find another beautiful button. She sent glass (of which I have very few actually), wood, shell, bakelite and ceramic buttons as well as some vintage good old plastic buttons. Thank you so much Lettuce. I shall treasure these.
