Kitty cats

Well it started off with one and has now become an addiction. We have caught the Wee Wonderfuls bug in this house. Jasmine has been quite ill with tonsilitis and so, after getting the lovely put-together book from the talented Hillary in the post that morning, we decided to spend the day together (Jazz in her PJ's) making something. It is the loveliest little book, so easy to follow, and the end product is a Wee Wonderful kitty, bunny or bear. I made the red polka dot kitty, she of the red shoe, (Bella) and Jasmine made the strawberry kitty (Fifi).

Then last night Jasmine had the urge to make another for her granny (Grumpy Old Woman) and Alfie wanted me to make him a boy one so two more kitties were made, one in retro colours to suit Grumpy Old Woman's interior

and a cowboy fabric one for Alfie. I need to design some little cowboy boots to go with his bandana.

I tell you, these little kitties are a joy to make and everyone will be getting one for Xmas whether they like it or not!!

Dons, they're fabulous!
Does that mean that mine's ready to come home with me now?
Lucky me to have such a generous grand-daughter (and such a creative, talented daughter) :o}

Brilliant! My favourite is still the little red polka dot one. The faces are great. I'm going to have to go and investigate some of those links now, will I ever prise myself off the internet?

No, I agree with Letty. How DO you find the time? You are So creative.

I love the idea of the cowboy quilt too. AND that old fashioned quilt fabric. I'd LOVE an old eiderdown - we all had them as children - but I remember how the feathers used to come out of them. I used to love pulling them out! Now of course, I can't go near a feather for wheezing. PTB
